Flanders misses you. Flanders welcomes you.
Bruges welcomes the 6th UNWTO World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism on the new dates: from 21st June to 23rd June 2021.
In normal times, you would be a guest in Flanders for the UNWTO World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism, organised by the UNWTO and the Basque Culinary Centre. Unfortunately at the moment, for reasons you will be aware of, the people of Flanders cannot give you a warm welcome as we usually would.
So we really miss you. But in Flanders we don't sit back and relax. The UNWTO World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism was given a new place on the calendar as a first priority: from 21st June to 23rd June 2021. Your host city remains Bruges, one of the most beautiful places in the world. We hope you will mark these new dates in your agenda.
Together with you, we are looking forward to this new appointment. So much so, that from 2nd to 4th June 2020 – the original dates which you would have been our guest here – we will share inspiring articles, interviews, updates and insights on the theme of the congress: gastronomy tourism as a driver of sustainable development. And about Flanders itself, of course. Because as a welcoming host, we would like to introduce ourselves to you.
