Irish College Leuven
Location
LeuvenCapacity
up to 220 paxThe monastery was founded 400 years ago by the Irish Franciscan Order, who fled from the threat of anti-Catholic persecution by the King Henry VIII of England. The building no longer serves as a refuge for persecuted monks; instead it now houses the Leuven Institute for Ireland in Europe. It therefore won't surprise you to discover that the atmosphere of this venue is steeped in Irish culture.
The restoration of Irish College Leuven is masterful. The authenticity has been preserved, which means your conference guests can enjoy a unique monastery experience. The jewel in the crown is the historic chapel, which was converted into a splendid auditorium. From the meeting rooms, the restaurant and the guest rooms, your delegates have a beautiful view of the large grounds.
Located in the city of Leuven
Leuven is home to one of Europe's oldest and most important universities. At the same time, it is headquarters to AB InBev, the world's largest brewer. Leuven's fascinating diversity makes this art city the ideal location for a conference that will impress your delegates for a long time to come.
